Our Story
Discover yourself a place that the locals know about, but don't always tell you...
A 16th Century thatched pub with various indoor restaurant areas, and outdoor - courtyards, decking and a beer garden with children's play area.
Enjoy a lunch or evening meal in our sixteenth century inn located in the picturesque hamlet of Trebellan near Cubert. Where possible we endeavour to use the freshest ingredients in our kitchen and have developed an enviable reputation for our fantastic specials board. The Smugglers' is also known for quality real ales a wide range of wines from around the world.
Our annual festival will be back in 2025!

Pub Food & Menu
Escape to The Smugglers' for some fantastic classic pub dishes not to mention dishes from further afield, inspired by our chefs' travels.
Why not book a table in our restaurant or dog friendly bar area, both with roaring log fires in the winter months. Or if you prefer "al fresco" dining there is an abundance of outside areas to choose from, including decking with views across the countryside.
Little Den
Our extension of the main pub during the summer months with separate dog friendly bar & restaurant to the main pub.
The addition of Bi-fold doors and decking truly transformed this space into one you do not want to leave, especially when the suns out!
The views over the surrounding countryside cant be matched. Paired with a scrumptious glass of wine or real ale, its really the perfect place to spend your afternoon.

Birthdays, Weddings or Wakes
The Little Den is a great space for Wedding Receptions, parties or private dining. Complete with its own bar & facilities; various areas to enjoy, inside and out, it is sure to make your experience, a memorable one!
